He writes for each function researching the company, the industry and in consultation with the client those individuals suited for inclusion in the entertainment.
Simon Hill draws upon 15 years of professional comic experience as a writer and performer, including three years on the London Cabaret circuit and various appearances at the Adelaide and Edinburgh Festivals. His career began in Archie Revues at Melbourne University and since graduating in 1978 he has developed various impersonations and characters including Prince Charles, Paul Keating, Bob Hawke, Andrew Peacock, Jeff Kennett and John Howard, or even your CEO.
Simon Hill's "H.R.H. Prince Charles" has appeared at various functions, from being a "guest" at intimate dinner parties to entertaining at large public conferences. Inspired by the Prince's eccentricities and Milligan-esque wit, Hill explores HRH's passions from architecture to the environment. Hill’s expertise in everything from Italian suites to South American economies, his "Paul Keating" in all his self-confidence and displaying the verbal and economic gymnastics for which he is renowned, has impressed numerous corporate audiences. Michael’s Jeff Kennett character is outstanding and has been often requested also, proving very popular.
Simon works extensively on the Australian conference and special event circuit, tailoring the presentation of each character to suit the occasion. He writes specific material in consultation with the client and can develop a specialist character for a specific event.
