Bo Hanson
Bo Hanson was a member of the UTS Coxless Four, together with Ben Dodwell and twins Geoff and James Stewart. Ranked 2nd in the world, their combined experience includes Olympic Games, World Championships and World Cups.
Amongst their medal tally the crew have won Gold at the 2000 Australian Rowing Championships, Silver at the World Rowing Championships in Canada in 1999, Bronze at the World Cup Regatta in Luzern and were second to the UK at Royal Henley in 2000.
Bo Hanson is currently the principal of a Sydney-based corporate training and health consultancy firm. He is a triple Olympian and a dual Olympic medallist so achieving peak performance has been and continues to be a driving force in his business and sporting life. Creating high performance workplaces is his primary goal and he draws from a variety of unique learning experiences, both from attending and competing in the Olympics and his secular career. He has university degree qualifications in Management and Human Resource together with being an accredited facilitator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the DISC behavioural profile.
Bo has provided consultancy and training services to a variety of businesses and audiences within the corporate environment. His training and development specialties are team building, communication strategies, managing change, motivation and goal setting.
Some of the clients Bo has delivered team building and his other specialty training to include NRMA (Assessing and Insurance), Hitachi Electronics, Australian Defence Force, Australian Taxation Office, AMP, Carlton United Breweries, Paton Pidcock Realty, Clayton Utz and the NSW Institute of Sport.
He is passionate about educating organisations to have a more holistic approach to enhancing the performance of their people. This involves enhancing attitude, business skills and overall health and fitness.
