A consulting engineer by profession, Wayne’s business interests are far more diverse than that. He is Chairman of Transmission Holdings Ltd – Government SOE owning Broadcast Communications Ltd (BCL) in NZ and THLA in Australia – the largest providers of free to air broadcast services in radio and TV in both countries.
Wayne Brown is the Chairman of Auckland District Health Board, currently operating ahead of budget but with a large deficit associated with previous capital commitments, new $500m hospital building project completed on time and in budget, $1.2bn business with 8000 staff and a huge product range.
Wayne Brown likes to challenge his audiences to think outside the norm and to truly consider how and why they operate the way they do.
