Tim Campbell

Tim Campbell is a natural all round entertainer. He sings, acts and presents with easy knock-about warmth and infectious style.

At school Tim excelled at swimming and athletics competing at state level, while starring in musicals and the school band. After touring with the Sydney Schools Drama Ensemble in Year 11, Tim took the serious step of moving to Melbourne to attend the Victorian College of the Arts. On his return to Sydney he worked hard at his craft doing the odd TV job and singing with a band called the Squid Munchies, before landing a job as a performer at Australia's Wonderland.
The next couple of years were spent entertaining and interacting with kids through the day and donning fishnets and high heels, singing songs like ‘Sweet Transvestite" as Frank N' Further in theatre restaurants to raucous adult audiences.
Tim is most well known on Australian TV in the role of Dan Baker on Seven's "Home & Away". He also starred in "Big Sky" (Ten), plus guest roles in "Wildside" (ABC), "White Collar Blue" (Ten), "Always Greener" (Seven), "Snobs" (Nine). He also appeared in the American series of "BeatMaster" and "The Lost World" and in US movies such as "The Great Raid", with Benjamin Bratt and Joseph Fiennes and "Dynasty Behind The Scenes".
As a singer, Tim has performed in various productions around Australia, Asia and the Middle East, including his memorable appearances at "Carols In The Domain" and on Networks Seven's "Good Friday Appeal" in Melbourne.
He hotfooted it on Seven's "Dancing with the Stars" in early 2007, coming third in the series. And hosted Seven's 2007 game show series, "National Bingo Night". Later in 2007 he was seen as Roger in the musical RENT in Western Australia and most recently moved to Melbourne to take the lead role of Johnny O'Keefe in the reprised musical of "SHOUT", playing at Melbourne's State Theatre between and at Sydney's Lyric Theatre during early 2008.
Critics rave about Tim Campbell as Johnny O'Keefe in SHOUT!
Tim Campbell signed with the Nine Network to host ‘The (Million Dollar) Wheel of Fortune’ and ‘Celebrity Singing Bee’. Nine is also developing other prime time roles for Tim that will be announced in the near future.
Tim has recently launched his new show ‘The Tim Campbell Retro Experience’ which is
available for bookings and corporate events. Tim is also a highly sought-after MC and performer for corporate events, working for many high profile clients.
