Over a period of a quarter of a century, Ron Barassi has appeared in Grand Finals as a player, vice captain, captain and coach, two out of every three years. Ron's incredible football career has included representing both his state and country as a player, captain, coach or selector
In 1996 he became the sports reporter for the Seven Network's Today Tonight. Ron has spoken to countless leading corporate businesses around Australia, relating the principles and techniques that bring out your "super best".
A trend-setter in both his playing and coaching, Ron Barassi was the first player to wear moulded soles on his boots, the first to replace the old program meal of steak with powdered food, the first to ban the chest mark from training, the first coach to leave the ground level bench for a better view seat above the play and the first coach to go to Ireland in search of prospects. He is a remarkable man with a remarkable story.
Ron Barassi presents to corporate audiences on subjects such as motivation, leadership, goal setting and teambuilding. His amazing statistics of being able to bring a below average team to championship status has certainly qualified Ron as an expert in these areas.
