The Voice Squad
Best Group' at the 2002 Sydney Cabaret Convention, The Voice Squad is one of Australia’s hottest new vocal ensembles.
They are a dynamic vocal quartet who sing unaccompanied (a cappella) – just four beautiful voices: Margie Coen, soprano; Eleanor Sheedy, mezzo-soprano; Luke Redmond, tenor and Kirk Hume, Bass. But this group is a quartet with a difference… they take you on a musical journey from opera to pop with a little jazz thrown in and just a smattering of rock.
The Voice Squad are all accomplished opera singers, who believe that a great tune is a great tune, no matter when it was written!
Here at last is a vocal group whose music spans rock, jazz, pop, renaissance and opera. The Voice Squad believes a great tune is a great tune no matter when it was written; that's why their performances reflect a unique mix of musical styles from Bach to Bee Gees. The Voice Squad can easily tailor their performance to the theme of any event.
The Voice Squad is flexible. Whether performing with or without PA, they can match their performance to the scale of any event, be it an intimate tableside serenade or a full-blown operatic extravaganza before an audience of thousands.
