Born in England, he went to school at Downside School, near Bath. After qualifying as a solicitor in 1984, he specialised in criminal law, In 1988, he left the law to complete an MBA at City University Business School in London. Soon after, he moved 'downunder' spending time in both Australia and New Zealand.
In 1995, he began his speaking career. Since then, he has appeared at many conferences and corporate events in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, France, USA and his native England. His clients include a distinguished list of professions, corporates, and professional associations. He is a member of the International Federation of Professional Speakers.
