New Melbourne Jazz Band

A six piece Dixieland Jazz Band based in Melbourne, Victoria. Their extensive repertoire enables them to present an extremely wide and varied range of programs.
These programs can also be modified, either in terms of time or variations in size of the group, to suit particular occasions.
On the many occasions New Melbourne Jazz Band have performed at more formal functions, such as cabarets, weddings and dinner dances, and have catered for the particular needs of the audience by being able to present small group combinations in the early stages of the proceedings. This is particularly important while guests are settling in and getting to know one another. As the evening progresses, the New Melbourne Jazz Band builds the momentum, "reading" the crowd and responding as appropriate.
