Patrick McMahon, one of Australia’s proudest exports, has just returned from a highly successful tour of the USA. Described as the “Superman of Entertainment”, Patrick has been winning over audiences in Aspen, New York, Nashville and Las Vegas.
Patrick’s dynamic performances and charismatic Aussie style have been a huge hit in the USA. They call him “The Aussie Cowboy” and American audiences just love him. Asked about his success in the US, Patrick says he loves travelling the US and playing to new audiences in each town – however – the boy from Nannup still calls Australia home!
As a young boy growing up in Nannup, Western Australia, he learned his trade singing and songwriting, while performing at the cattle stations and mining camps along the West Australian coast. Now, as a seasoned performer, Patrick enjoys success not only in Australia, but across the globe.
A valued and privileged experience for Patrick has been the chance to open for and perform on the same stage as such respected and seasoned performers as Sir Cliff Richard, Dionne Warwick, Joan Rivers and Charley Pride.
He was also given the honour of opening Olympic football at Hindmarsh Stadium for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. His stellar performance to a live audience of 17,000 and a viewing audience of millions, helped to create a positively electric atmosphere in the stadium.
Patrick McMahon is of course, passionate about country music and continues to write and record his original country rock songs. From showcase ballads to high rockin’ tunes he performs at country music festivals, outdoor fairs and pubs across Australia, Canada and the USA.
He tailors his corporate shows to the specific needs of each client. His shows include hits from the 60’s, through to the new millennium, by Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Robbie Williams, U2, Jet and more.
Throughout his show Patrick also includes country hits from Johnny Cash, John Denver, Kenny Rogers, Steve Earle, Lee Kernaghan, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson and Garth Brooks, among others.
