Peter Ernest

Peter Ernest is internationally recognised as a dynamic motivational speaker and a powerful facilitator of change. He has presented internationally for over a decade and to top corporations including AMP, AXA, Bonds, GWF, IBM, Microsoft, Rothschilds, Reuters, Walt Disney as well as organisations including FBA (Family Business Australia), TEC (The Executive Connection) and YPO.
Peter Ernest has been a frequent education resource to the prestigious Young Presidents’ Organisation in fifteen countries and in 1995 was chosen by YPO to deliver the opening keynote to 1200 delegates at an international conference which was an honour previously given to Nelson Mandela, President Clinton and Mother Theresa. He is a keenly sought after presenter in Asia, working extensively in Japan, and has also presented in the United States, the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
Peter Ernest has worked across a broad range of industries, pioneered resort based “adventure learning” at a Five Star Resort and Health Spa, worked with over 1000 CEOs from fifteen countries and has developed a new methodology for personal, team and organisational transformation. Peter presented his innovative Values Journey process at the American Society for Training and Development International Convention, in Orlando Florida in June 2001. The event attracts over 12,000 delegates with presenters selected from over 1000 applicants. Recently he has been recognised at the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD) with the “Oscar” for best innovation stream presentation, as voted by peers, at the 2001 National Conference.
The theme of his work focuses on values and vision, leadership and teamwork, creativity and change. His enthusiasm is contagious and with his unique and energetic style, challenges individuals to take personal responsibility and to initiate positive change. A stimulating and fun “discovery learning” environment is created using interactive games and exercises, which demonstrate key principles with powerful re-enforcement.
In 1993 Peter Ernest started the consulting group, Ernest Phoenix International and is a director of the company, which services both Australian and international clients.
Over recent years, Peter has created and developed Values Journey, an exciting process, to identify and transform personal, team and organisational values. He is in high demand internationally to facilitate the process with top companies. Values Journey was incorporated in 1999 and Peter is the founder, owner and sole director. Both Ernest Phoenix International and Values Journey are based in Melbourne, Australia.
