Jon Faine

Jon Faine is well known as the articulate and challenging host of his own current affairs radio programme on 774 Melbourne. His background is extensive and varied and includes being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor (Supreme Court Victoria). He went on to practise law and subsequently moved in to the media, hosting a range of radio programmes.
Whether it be politics, law, arts or sport, Jon Faine investigates the issues and stories affecting Melbourne now with energy and vigour all without taking life too seriously.

With a professional background in law, Jon Faine entered radio broadcasting in 1989 to produce and present Radio National's Law Report. He then presented 3LO's morning and afternoon programs and worked on ABC TV's Investigators, First Edition and Wise UP. He has also been a scriptwriter for a number of TV and feature films.
