Tim Fischer
Former Army Officer, NSW State Parliamentarian, Leader of the National Party, Minister for Trade and Deputy Prime Minister, now Consultant, Company Director, Author and Multiple Patron, Tim Fischer has had a distinguished career.
First elected to Federal Parliament in 1984, Tim Fischer has been the Shadow Minister for Energy and Resources, Shadow Minister for Veterans' Affairs and the Federal Parliamentary National Party Liaison Officer for Western Australia. He has served on the Transport Safety Committee, Committee on Aircraft Noise and the Standing Committee on Transport, Communications and Infrastructure.
Since retiring from parliament, Tim accepted positions that included:
Chair of the Crawford Fund on International Agricultural Research;
Chair of the Australian Winemakers Foundation;
National Patron of Frontier Services;
Patron of various charitable organisations

Chairman Royal Flying Doctor Service
From 26 August to 1 September 1999, Tim Fischer was Leader of the Official Australian Delegation which oversaw the popular consultation or ballot held on 30 August 1999 in East Timor.
