Rosemary Aitken

Rosemary Aitken is a highly sought after facilitator, consultant and keynote speaker with extensive experience in the delivery of leadership, change management, communication and time management programs.

In 1990 Rosemary Aitken established her own consultancy business with clients such as NSW Department of Health, Department of Education, Roads & Traffic Authority, NSW Police Service, Falls Creek Ski Lifts, Uncle Bens and Coles Myer.
She joined the Franklin Covey Group in 1995 after owning and managing ski lodges in the Victorian ski field at Falls Creek for the prior 6 years, one which was recognized by BRW as being one of the finest in the Australian Ski Fields. Recently, Rosie has been a keynote speaker at the CPA Congress, where she delivered interactive sessions on succession planning, leadership and time management. She was also a guest speaker at the Brisbane Junior Chamber of Commerce annual leadership conference.
Since joining the Franklin Covey Group, Rosemary Aitken has delivered training programs throughout Australia and New Zealand. Her expertise ranges from customisation and delivery of programs to consulting and coaching. Rosemary’s education background has helped her become competent and relaxed about tailor made curriculum development. Rosemary has worked extensively with most of Franklin Covey’s clients but in particular Tourism Queensland, Boeing, American Express, Dairy Farmers, Victorian Department of Education, AMP, Accor and McDonalds. Recently,
In 2003, Rosemary led the Franklin Covey Focus and Aligning Goals seminars in Australia and New Zealand. These flagship 1-day Franklin Covey programs have generated the interest of major organisations in Australia, and add depth to Franklin Covey’s most famous workshop - The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Rosemary Aitken has a very pragmatic approach to facilitation. She believes that training, education, development should not only be exciting and interesting: but, more importantly, useful and immediately applicable. Rosemary holds qualifications in B.Soc.Sci, and Dip.P.E. Rosemary began her professional career as a Secondary teacher in NSW and in 1986 she was seconded to the National Campaign Against Drug Abuse to implement policy, programs and strategies for Preventative Drug Education. It was during this time that she became interested in adult education and the learning process. This took Rosemary on to The Meridian Institute in Colorado, USA which specializes in Process Consultancy. Facilitators with the Institute are also trained to be Master Practitioners of Neurolinguistic Programming, so Rosemary was introduced to yet another dimension to successfully working with people.
