Andrew Startin finished his schooling in his beloved hometown of Benalla in 1995, where he grew up and spent his time enjoying numerous sports.
The following year he began a Journalism course at Deakin but deferred mid-way through the year. Unemployed for almost two years, Andrew’s big break came in June of 1997 on the much-watched Footy Show with an amazing Sam Newman impersonation.
Andrew Startin appeared four more times on The Footy Show for the year and became a highlight of the show.
In 1998 Andrew Startin joined Executive Producer Harvey Silver in a much-publicised split from Channel Nine to form a football/variety show, Live and Kicking, at rival network Channel Seven.
Andrew Startin has became a regular on Australian television including channel 10’s The Panel. Andrew recently stared in Russell Coight’s “Celebrity Challenge" which rated superbly.
