Angela Tsun's Biography
Angela Tsun was Channel Nine Perth's weather presenter for the past few years before being headhunted by Channel Seven Perth to present their afternoon news services and the weather on the main evening news service. She commenced her new role with Seven in January 2013.
Twenty nine year old Angela has over eight years’ experience as a weather presenter having commenced her career on Foxtel's Weather Channel before joining Nine Perth. Initially she presented beach and surf reports during the summer months before becoming weekend weather presenter for Foxtel. Angela also presented Foxtel's Weather Channel's 'Wild World of Weather' for several years.
Angela is accustomed to researching and writing weather reports as well as presenting them. She has a Bachelor of Science Communications Degree from the University of New South Wales.
With a love of performance and a keen interest in the natural world, inspired by David Attenborough's famous natural history series, Angela strives to engage others to understand our global environment. She has been a member of the Australian Science Communicators (ASC) Association since the beginning of her career.
After less than 12 months at Channel Nine the station increased Angela's on-air role to include hosting their popular 'PostCards' program and presenting on 'Just Add Water' show. Angela has also become a familiar voice on radio regularly filling in as co-host of 96fm's breakfast program and All Request Lunch program.
When not in a TV studio, Angela's favourite place to enjoy the weather and Mother Nature's creations is on the beach or travelling to exotic locations. She also enjoys relaxing with Yoga, Pilates and scuba diving.
Angela is also a much sought after master of ceremonies for corporate events.
