Angie is a passionate, values driven leader who works with business owners, C-Suite executives and boards as an executive coach and mentor, keynote speaker, Board Chair and Non-Executive Director.
She is an ordinary person who has had extraordinary opportunities in life. Many of these have been in the form of life challenges which Angie chose to perceive as opportunities to learn and grow and build strength and resilience in the face of adversity. She has experienced both sides of that fine line in life that we all travel where unforeseen circumstances can very quickly move you to the other side.
Angie’s story is one of hope, perseverance and optimism, particularly for women who find themselves on their own with a young family to raise and considerable financial debt.
Angie never aspired to leadership but has strived to be the best that she can be at whatever she does, while at the same time giving back and working to make a positive difference in people's lives. Her drive comes from her strong values base, developed early in life as a result of the special gifts from both her parents who have been strong influencers in her life journey.
Angie’s career spans over 16 years as a CEO and more than 20 years as a Non-Executive Director, including a diversity of roles as a health practitioner, business owner, senior executive, executive coach and mentor in the hospitality, health, education, disability, alcohol and drug and community services industries. She has held senior positions in the government, not for profit and private sectors in Tasmania and Western Australia.
In 2015, Angie was awarded the Telstra WA Business Woman of the Year Award in recognition of her business achievements and contribution to the community.
Angie has a strong commitment to lifelong learning and is formally qualified at Masters Level in Business Leadership, is a Fellow and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. She has been a member of The Executive Connection since 2004.
