Dale Burridge's Biography

Dale Burridge started his career in music Theatre speakers in the 1981 production of "The Sound Of Music," starring Julie Anthony. In this production Dale Burridge was a German storm trooper, Rolf’s understudy and a nun. Not being able to break the habit, Dale Burridge went on to achieve success in Australia and abroad, including a concert at the Tropicana Club in Havana, Cuba.
Dale Burridge was cast as Raoul in the Australian Premier production of "The Phantom Of The Opera," alongside Marina Prior and Anthony Warlow. During this time, Dale and Marina opened "Prior Engagements," a restaurant/supper club in Melbourne, where Australia’s biggest stars performed in cabaret.
In 1997, after playing Enjolras in the Asia/Africa tour of Les Miserables, Dale Burridge was invited to sing in his first symphony concert conducted by Maestro Tommy Tycho. Dale Burridge has since gone on to sing with Australia’s leading symphony orchestras in programs ranging from Gershwin to Puccini. During the Sydney Olympics, Dale performed his one-man show "Going It Alone" for the Olympics Concert Series in Martin Place.
In 2002, Simon Pryce, Michael Falzon, David Malek and Dale launched their new act "The Rat Pack’s Back," a sophisticated cabaret act based on the legendary Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin. The act has been an instant success, taking bookings through to 2004. Dale Burridge is also a proud member of the internationally acclaimed, The Three Waiters.
