Dr Tim Baker's Biography

Dr Tim Baker is an international consultant and Managing Director of Winners at Work which specialises in assisting organisations develop productive workplace cultures.


He is the author of two books, the latest being “The 8 Values of Highly Productive Companies” and numerous trade and journal articles. Dr Baker is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Professional Facilitators.
Dr Tim Baker holds degrees in education, behavioural science and was awarded his doctoral degree in change management in 2005 from the Queensland University of Technology. Dr Baker’s thesis was awarded an outstanding international doctoral research award by Emerald/EFDM.
He has conducted major consulting assignments in Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, New Zealand, Taiwan, Finland, and Canada. His clients include IBM, Boeing, Unilever, SAP, Nokia, Volvo, Singapore Airlines, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Dr Tim Baker is a Member of the Queensland University of Technology Council and QUT Alumni Board and recipient of a Paul Harris Fellowship through Rotary International.
His presentations are informative, energetic, persuasive, practical and humorous. Dr Baker has mastered the art of bridging cutting edge theory with practical application.
