As Flight Lieutenant for the F/A-18F Super Hornet Weapon Systems Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force (“RAAF”), Jazz is passionate about protecting and serving her country.

At the age of 17, Jazz joined the RAAF, attending the Australian Defence Force Academy to undertake a Bachelor of Business and Air Force Officer Training. She went on to complete flight training and worked hard in order to be selected for ‘fast jet’ operations on the F/A-18F Super Hornet.

Over her career, Jazz has flown both nationally and internationally, conducting training exercises and deployments with her Squadron. In 2014 and 2015, she was deployed to the Middle East to combat Islamic State forces as part of the Air Task Group.

Currently posted to the RAAF’s Air Combat Transition Office, Jazz is a part of a specialist strategic planning and change management team, looking at the Air Force’s transition from the F/A-18A/B Hornet to the F-35A capability.
