Sam Beau Patrick's Biography
Sam Beau Patrick inspires people to take small daily changes to improve their health and happiness. Sam has worked for over 33 years in the health industry having practiced as a nurse, a pharmaceutical rep and more recently as a naturopath and health performance coach.
She speaks from a place of realness, being a sole parent with 3 children, now a published author of six books, with two being best sellers, an artist with a profitable commission business and a coaching clinic. Sam is invited regularly to appear in media about her knowledge on a variety of topics health related, food, hormones, burn out, cancer and other health conditions. Sam inspires people to live their life by design not default.
From a nursing career working in the Emergency Departments of Melbourne and Sydney’s busiest hospitals, through her pharmaceutical career (being one of the companies’ top rep for years), she finally found her calling in natural medicine and lifestyle coaching.
After playing sport at a high level (Australian representation for one sport, and Australian squad for two others) she started her family and business. All was going well until one night (while hosting a dinner party) she suffered a hormone meltdown. This lead her on a path of discovery. With all her tertiary qualifications and medical understanding, no answers were given for her inability to relax and subsequent burn out.
Utilising this 'insider experience' Sam started asking her patients if they felt the same (angry, suffering with belly fat, exhaustion, etc.) and overwhelmingly Sam stumbled on the greatest hormone issue affecting Australian and Western Women. High testosterone and other hormone imbalance, that create disease, lead to relationship break ups, infertility and more. Her first book on hormones, Beauty and the Beast Within is a best seller.
After being put forward by Tourism Australia to be interviewed by Oprah with her down under tour 2011, Sam wrote her next best seller on Menopause. She has since written and published 3 more books.
Often appearing in the media discussing work and its impact on hormones and health, she has a reputation for being a dynamic speaker, very relatable and fun.
She has been on the speaking circuit for many years and has given many corporate talks on females in the work place, energy balance in the work place and how to find balance in a stressful environment.
She loves speaking and travels the world inspiring people to be better versions of themselves, as well as doing charity work in third world countries.
Speaking Topics Include
Work-Life Balance - With more people than ever before taking sick leave for stress, burn out and depression, helping staff with a sustainable work-life balance benefits all. Your work place will become a sought after place to work, increasing staff gratification and appreciation. As this happens your business will benefit from less sick leave, improved bottom line and greater momentum for projects.
Supporting Female Leadership - With more women assuming leadership roles, it is important they are given the tools to manage their energy, their delivery and their own personal brand. Many fall into the pit traps of "female corporate disease" working long hours, losing their zest for life and suffering with hormone imbalances (such as burn out, high male androgen levels and more).
Sam keeps this presentation very real.
Having worked in corporate for over 25 years and being a leader in the business world, Sam is familiar with the pitfalls, traps and how to navigate the feminine way to not only be successful but also be true to being a woman.
Peak Performance 101 - Prioritising time every day for optimal nutrition, exercise and mindset are often the overlooked aspects of peak performance.
Sam shows your audience how to do it in a fun and seamless way so their performance across all areas of life; work, sport, relationships, home life improve.
