Sheree Mutton's Biography

Sheree Mutton is an award-winning journalist, editor, television presenter and columnist, with more than 12 years in the media industry.

Sheree made her television debut in April 2008, at age 19, alongside Australian fashion designer, Peter Morrissey. Appearing on Foxtel’s highly-popular Fashion TV in conjunction with Sunsilk, Sheree’s performance received positive reviews for her professional delivery.

That same year, Sheree began reporting for Fox Sports News, while finishing a Bachelor of Journalism degree at the University of Wollongong. By the age of just 21, Sheree had interviewed some of the biggest sporting stars in the world.

In 2010, Sheree started working at Fairfax Media as a reporter. She spent three years covering politics, crime, health, defence and entertainment. Her work was published in 11 newspapers, including The Sydney Morning Herald. She was also one of the first news presenters selected to appear on Sydney’s TVS News program on the free-to-air, Channel 44.

Known as one of Australia’s most influential lifestyle journalists, Sheree spent almost four years at Australia’s biggest selling women's magazine - The Australian Women's Weekly - first as the Digital Editor and then Health and Beauty Director. During this time, she interviewed a range of A-list stars for the magazine, including Dame Joan Collins, Eva Longoria, Cara Delevingne and Kim Cattrall; and hosted lifestyle events across Australia such as the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) and Health & Wellbeing Weekend.

She also fronted campaigns for Priceline Pharmacy, Olay, Pantene, Westfield and L'Oreal Paris; and regularly appeared on 2UE Talking Lifestyle radio as a commentator.

Sheree later joined the Daily Mail as Editor of FEMAIL - the newspaper's women's section focused on fashion, beauty, health, food, relationships and homes.

In 2018, she relaunched her own content creation business, Reeton Media, and embarked on a freelance career, writing for 9Honey, 10Daily, News.com.au, Body+Soul, Business Chicks, The Australian Women's Weekly, Women's Health, Mamamia and Kidspot.

Sheree also lectures journalism at the University of Wollongong.
