Stephanie Woollard OAM's Biography

Stephanie Woollard’s story is a stunning example of how one person can make a difference with passion and persistence. Steph’s desire to create change from a young age has led to global success, recognition and thought leadership that inspires others to reach their potential.

 

Steph is the founder of Seven Women, an organisation which has now educated, trained and employed over 6000 disabled and marginalised women in Nepal through education, skills training and employment pathways. She has recruited hundreds of volunteers who in their engagement with her cause have furthered their own pursuit of purpose and discovering their own potential, and met many inspiring change-makers through her global speaking engagements. Many of these are guests on the Inspiring Humans Podcast.

 

Steph has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for her philanthropy and humanitarian work, among many other global awards. Steph has a Masters in Peace and Conflict Research from Uppsala University, Sweden and is an accomplished author of The Tin Shed to the United Nations which has now sold over 7000 copies. In 2016, Steph was the producer of the documentary Bringing the Light and has recently had a new documentary released called “A Spirited Journey”.
