Simply put, Jane de Graaff loves everything about her life with food. It’s all about encouraging everyone to play with their food, to get in elbow deep and just give it a go.
As a TV presenter, journalist, podcaster and recipe developer specialising in food stories, Jane looks to make good food accessible to everyone and put the fun back into cooking and eating.
Jane regularly presents live food and cooking segments on Channel Nine’s Today, Today Extra, A Current Affair and 9Honey, as well as writing food, lifestyle and news features for nine.com.au and representing 9Honey online and through TV segments.
In 2016, Jane was appointed Food Editor for nine.com.au. She is a food journalist and presenter with over a decade of food storytelling experience, but she is not a food elitist. Jane has also written for the Herald Sun, The Sydney Morning Herald food and coffee guides and Cheap Eats among other well-loved publications.
For many years she was senior food writer and contributor to Broadsheet Melbourne and Sydney, first on the ground when new cafes and restaurants opened their doors, interviewing chefs and writing copy for the first Broadsheet Cookbook.
In 2018 Jane hosted the 52-episode weekly podcast series ‘What the F is For Dinner’, interviewing Australia’s best chefs and food personalities.
Her passion for sharing food stories has led her to MC food events including the launch of the Channel 9 partnership with the Australian Open in 2018, where multiple food activations were announced to the media, while she interviewed iconic chefs including Neil Perry live on stage. And Jane is a regular host of the Sydney Good Food Month events.
Jane loves working with brands that speak to everyday home cooks and make home cooking easier. She has presented commercial videos and content for clients from GLAD and Chandon, working with specific products, as well as presented live TV cooking segments for clients with a focus on making mealtimes simple and easy.
