Dr Katrina Warren's Biography
Media Veterinarian, Presenter and Author
Dr Katrina Warren has 20 years’ experience as a much-loved and trusted media veterinarian and spokesperson, best known for her roles on Harry’s Practice, Talk to the Animals, Totally Wild and Housecat Housecall (USA).
She regularly appears across all media platforms and is currently resident veterinarian on Channel 9’s Today Show. She’s also worked across all other media platforms, including radio, print and online, authored four books, hosted many events and most recently launched Australia’s first online interactive Puppy Training Club to help people enrich the bond they share with their dog through positive training.
Katrina’s YouTube pet channel also provides expert knowledge about pet health, behaviour and training. The channel also features the talented Wonderdogs – a team of highly trained Border Collies that provide entertainment and education for the public. She’s also recently created an interactive, online dog training program, Wonderdog School, that’s set to revolutionise dog training by making it convenient, affordable, accessible and fun, giving all owners the opportunity to confidently train and manage their dog.
Through her extensive work in philanthropy, Dr Katrina Warren is also an Ambassador for Assistance Dogs Australia, Animal Welfare League NSW, Animals Asia Foundation, National Breast Cancer Foundation and Lifeline Australia. With her down to earth ‘girl next door’ persona and veterinary experience beyond her years, it’s little wonder she’s Australia’s best loved vet.
Over the years Katrina’s hosted hundreds of events ranging from corporate functions and charity fundraising events, through to huge televised live events like Carols in the Domain. Some of the events she’s been involved with include the Dog Lovers Show, pet expos, vet clinic and pet store open days, various presentations and my own event, the Border Collie Fun Day.
Katrina’s an Ambassador for Assistance Dogs Australia, Animal Welfare League NSW, Animals Asia Foundation, National Breast Cancer Foundation and Lifeline Australia.
“I feel truly blessed to have been in the position to use my media profile to support and promote the important role animals play in our lives”.
