Ross Wallman's Biography
Ross Wallman has worked in commercial radio and TV for the last decade. He spent seven years at popular Perth FM radio station, Hit 929, where listeners loved his upbeat, fun and friendly manner. Aside from his extensive work at 92.9, Ross also hosted the breakfast radio show “Galey, Ross and Charli” at SeaFM on the Gold Coast in 2015 before returning to his beloved home town.
In addition to his radio experience, Ross appeared weekly for several years on Channel 10’s national news program, The Project, as the Perth correspondent in its popular Metro Whip Around segment. He has also worked with Channel 9, most recently on Just Add Water, the Rottnest Edition.
Now at his new home of NOVA, Ross regularly MCs corporate, charity and entertainment events including hosting the Australia Day Havaianas Thong Challenge at Cottesloe Beach for several years, and has hosted every Melanoma WA charity event since 2011.
Ross has hosted countless local and visiting music artist acts across Perth, 'Chicks at the Flicks' with Event Cinemas and numerous events for 92.9 and their advertisers. Ross was a finalist in the 2010 Cleo Bachelor of the Year and a finalist on Make Me a Supermodel although he won’t ever bring this up. Something you should ask him about is his extensive travel in developing countries including India, Israel and South America.
