Tara Dennis's Biography

Home is where Tara Dennis loves to be more than anywhere, so her inspiration and creativity comes from wanting to make the things she lives with each day as good and comfortable as they can possibly be.

Tara is one of television’s most recognised faces and has been presenting decorating, style and craft segments continuously for almost twenty years.  

Beginning at Channel Nine on shows such as Our House, Changing Rooms, Burke’s Backyard, DIY Rescue and Renovation Rescue, Tara now works with Channel Seven in her eleventh year as part of the team on the well-loved TV show, Better Homes & Gardens.

In conjunction with her TV commitments, Tara runs a busy design studio and retail store in Wahroonga on Sydney's Upper North Shore.

Now in its third year of trade, the Tara Dennis Store, is full of beautiful furniture, decorator and gifting items all hand-picked by Tara based on her style philosophies. The Tara Dennis online store launched in 2016 and now delivers to customers all over Australia.

Tara continues to share her passion by speaking regularly at industry exhibitions and events, conducting public demonstrations and educational talks.

Currently the face of 3M Command and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Tara has worked with many well-known companies including: Samsung, Plush Sofas, Bunnings Warehouse, Blum Australia, Clipsal Australia, Dulux and Selleys.
