Tiffany Cherry is one of Australia’s leading sports presenters and producers, with a media career spaning over 25 years and three continents across television, film, radio, print and digital media. She has been nominated for and won a number of awards as a producer and presenter, and is an in-demand keynote speaker and MC.
Tiffany was the first female AFL boundary commentator and one of the original faces of Fox Footy, before expanding her media career to include co-host of the Summer and Winter Olympics and Commonwealth Games for Foxtel, host for ESPN’s SportsCenter from her US base in Connecticut, and international reporter for CNN.
After completing her MBA in Innovation and Leadership in 2016 and the Australian Institute of Company Director’s course, Tiffany embarked on a new journey as Richmond Football Club’s Multimedia Executive, two decades after becoming the Tiger’s first female physiotherapist which at the time, she combined with running her own physiotherapy practice.
Passionate about diversity and driving social inclusion and equality, Tiffany was the first female in Australia to produce and host a sports radio program, The Hen House, on SEN, shining the spotlight on female athletes and sports administrators. She also created a corporate and charity golf day, Token Blokes, designed to foster workplace gender equality and sits on Richmond’s Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan committee, as well as co-hosting the club’s diversity and inclusion podcast, Our Stripes.
Tiffany is the founder and Chair of Richmond’s Environmental Action Committee – a position she combines with her role as one of the founding Board members of SEA – Sports Environment Alliance. She was directly responsible for Richmond becoming the first AFL team to join the United Nations’ UNFCCC and leads the Tigers’ environmental audit.
Tiffany is an ambassador for Our Watch, Women’s Health and Royal Flying Doctors and as well as her position with SEA, is also non-executive director of Brilliant Women Global.
