Justin Hancock's Biography
Successful Creative | Designing Your AI Roadmap | AI Speaker
Justin Hancock is a product leader and former VP who has spent 15+ years building and scaling software across the UK, Europe, and Australia.
He’s held senior roles at global tech companies including Just Eat Takeaway, Gett and StarRez (a top performing Vista Private Equity holding), and has worked across 11 industries (eComm, Renewables, mobility, insurtech, food delivery, digital content & broadcast and more) in product, data, and engineering-heavy environments.
Justin was previously a successful touring DJ, playing the major Australian festivals, with bookings in Japan, New Zealand, the US, Bali, Jakarta and across most of the Australian capitals prior to spending 15 years building and scaling software businesses across the UK, Europe and Australia.
He has also created and sold a TV show to Netflix and National Geographic which went to air in 130 countries.
Justin has since studied deeply the AI transition and works with clients on AI transformation across a multitude of industries and now works as a fractional product leader and Partner at SeidrLab, helping organisations apply modern product, engineering, and data operating models to deliver real-world AI transformation. He has spoken at marketing and technology conferences in the UK, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Australia.
Justin builds his presentations around:
- What is actually happening in the economy right now, drawn from how leading global organisations are transforming, with analogies from earlier technological transitions. This one is aimed at showing leaders what's possible rather than warning them off.
- AI risk and ethics, and how to weigh those honestly while still moving.
- AI for good. The effect on medicine, climate and other large social problems could be significant if the risk side is handled properly. People need to have a vision for what is at stake for humanity's future, whilst not being ignorant of how to manage the risks.
Justin believes that sprinkling AI across existing processes doesn't hold up, and companies end up going back to brass tacks on how they actually operate. That's true of tech native and non tech native industries both, though it lands quite differently in each.
Justin works with clients to shape a tailored presentation to address the needs required to deliver an insightful an content rich keynote centered around AI.
His presentations are designed for boards, leadership teams, and industry events that want a clear picture of how AI shows up inside a real business: what changes, what does not, and what an operating model built around AI looks like in practice.
