Bogan Bingo's Biography

Bogan Bingo is your answer to your next fundraiser, work function or private event and will save you from another boring quiz night. If you’ve been stuck with running this years event, Bogan Bingo is now based in all the main states and help you run your night with ease!

In 2005, two guys got together and created a game show designed to get the entire country in touch with their inner bogan. Well, not really, the guys just decided there were too many quiz nights in town and all the open night mic nights were going broke so he decided to throw them all together.

Now thirteen years on, and over 3000 crazy shows later, it seems the entire country is in the grips of bogan fever.

The show and its budding team of wannabe rock stars are now in all states, two countries and probably performing at a pub, festival or work function near you. So look out for Bogan Bingo, because when it comes to jumping on the bogan bandwagon, we built it!

Half game show. Half party. That’s how we describe it. One Bingo caller calls out the numbers and his budding Dj play songs from the 80’s and 90’s that rhyme with those numbers. Throw in some jokes, tributes and spontaneous air guitar competition and you’ll soon see why Bogan Bingo is performing from office spaces to cruise ships in a town near you.Each event consists of:

the comedy laughs of a weekly open mic night.

the crowd focus of a trivia night.

the music of an 80’s themed tribute and fancy dress night.

the interaction and participation of a team building activity.

During the show, the numbers continually prompt snippets of songs, jokes, group ‘shout outs’ and air guitar competitions that make the crowd the stars of the show.

Each show can be tailored to suit your crowd or event, its as simple as not calling out certain numbers or just not doing the joke we have for it. As a result, we get to perform for all types of schools, companies and communities ranging from Rotary Clubs, Catholic Schools, Motorcycle Clubs and even the Australian Cake decorators Association. What a night that was! All you need is a little sense of humor and the ability to laugh at yourself.
