Faulty Towers The Dining Experience's Biography
Enter the world of the snobbish, manic Basil; his domineering wife Sybil; and their hopeless language challenged waiter, Manuel.
Be one of the steady stream of bemused guests trying to make Manuel understand what it is you want; ask for an ‘ice bucket’ and you might just be presented with a ‘nice bucket’; a simple procedure like opening a bottle of wine can become a huge drama, and maybe during all this, you might get some service – Faulty style of course.
Everything that can go wrong will – in fact they can best be described as organised chaos!!
It takes a lot of courage for performers to take on the roles created and made famous by John Cleese and Connie Booth in the cult-status television series “Fawlty Towers”, but now after more than 15 years of performing the well-loved characters, the members of the Interactive Theatre International* team have become known as, arguably, the best Fawlty Towers impersonators in the World.
Thousands of diners around the world have enjoyed the fun! abuse!! and service!! of Basil, Sybil and Manuel in major festivals, international tours, public shows, private functions and conference dinners.
The performance is fully interactive and portrays the spirit of the characters and the atmosphere they create - ie. It does not use scripting by John Cleese and Connie Booth. The performers are impersonators only, and have no connection to John Cleese, Connie Booth or the BBC.
Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is site-specific immersion theatre, and is suitable for public performances, and for private showings of the full performance. Corporate performances by the Faulty Towers performers are available.
