Kim Bridge has over twenty years’ experience working in the business and economic environment, particularly with Indigenous Australians, both at an individual and community level. His strength is in understanding the complexities of social and economic development in developing communities and facilitating a coordinated response to sustainable change.

Kim sits on various boards including, Curtin University Council, Transfield Services Indigenous Advisory Board and Reconciliation Western Australia. Previously, Kim was on the board at the West Australian Tourism Commission.
Kim Bridge provides an interesting snapshot of the future of Aboriginal business -social entrepreneurship and building communities with a sustainable development approach.
Kim was born and raised in Halls Creek, spent his formative schooling years in Alice Springs followed by an elite boarding school for High School. After a few years of life as an accountant, Kim moved into the Aboriginal space to pursue his passion for improved wellbeing in Aboriginal Australia.
Kim works with the private sector, government and communities to facilitate greater economic independence for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. He aligns with organisations that are passionate about increasing opportunities for Aboriginal organisations and communities to participate in the economy and prosper with all Australians.
He has since applied his skills and passion in Aboriginal economic development, social enterprise, community development, leadership, cross cultural investigations and training, personal and team development and taking cultural tours through one of the oldest and most captivating sceneries on the planet.
Kim facilitates and develops strategic business planning and implementation in a cross-cultural environment. We help clients build strong governance, management and business practices that fast track their successful engagement with their markets and stakeholder networks.
If the right incentives are in place to promote, inspire and celebrate business models that integrate Aboriginal business and economic development, we start moving toward a more level playing field. Long term value to all stakeholders including Aboriginal people and organisations is critical.
With a long history in this space and a good sense of humour, Kim spins a good yarn at the best of times.
