Michael Hill is Chairman and Managing Director of one of New Zealand’s most successful retail companies - Michael Hill Jeweller. Thirteen years ago, the first Michael Hill Jeweller store was established. The concept was so innovative that it revolutionised jewellery retailing in New Zealand. Within eight years, there were 10 outlets spread throughout the country and into Australia.

Due to determination and vision all of this has been achieved in just thirteen years, from a minimal base. Michael Hill gathered around him a team of talented people and together they drove the company forward to success. Currently Michael Hill is worth over $35 million dollars and was recently named in New Zealand’s “Rich List”.
