Peter was a pleasure to work with and the client was extremely happy with his performance. It was not an easy event and Peter showed a high degree of professionalism, able to adapt his performance throughout the day as changes occurred. It was such a pleasure to work with an MC who had spent time to understand the event and client, and had read and understood the script and what was required on the day. There were many on the spot changes to the script and Peter was flexible with all the changes and did an excellent job of ad-libbing and engaging the crowd.

Peter Helliar is a man of many talents. As a stand-up, a writer, a presenter and a producer Pete excels in everything her undertakes.
Pete is a muti-hyphenate performer, who is firmly in the business of being funny- and makes it look dead easy!
Pete has performed in festivals, theatres, and comedy rooms Australia wide and is a regular fan favourite on our small screens – appearing in season three of Taskmaster Australia and as a competitor on The Amazing Race Australia. This follows appearances on Spicks and Specks, Thank God You’re Here, Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee and Have You Been Paying Attention?
Pete co-produced two series of the award winning It’s A Date for ABC TV, and wrote, directed, and starred in all three seasons of Network 10’s dramedy How to Stay Married. Not content with being a star on stage and screen, Pete created and hosts the very funny cinema podcast You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet and is the author of the much-loved children’s book series, Frankie Fish and Herman Crab, both of which are published by Hardie Grant/Egmont.
