Peter Williams has recently been named one of Australia’s Top Digital Influences. Peter’s focus is on digital innovation and helping boards and senior executives navigate today’s rapidly changing digital business environment.The founder of digital services pioneer Deloitte Digital, an adjunct professor at RMIT and Australian chief of Silicon Valley Applied Research startup Centre for the Edge, Williams is clearly at the forefront of digital business - and always has been!
As a speaker and media commentator Peter's unparalleled expertise and experience within Fortune 500 Deloitte has created a level of credibility that's hard to match. Working locally and internationally, his reputation is embraced by boards and senior executives needing to navigate today's rapidly changing digital environment.
One of Australia's technology titans is here to help explain and map the new terrain. Peter was recently appointed as Chief Edge Officer for the newly formed Australian Chapter of Centre for the Edge, a Silicon Valley Applied Research Centre chaired by two technology luminaries John Hagel III and John Seely Brown with a mission to identify and explore emerging opportunities related to big shifts that aren't yet on the senior management agenda, but ought to be. While it is focused on long-term trends and opportunities, it is equally focused on implications for near-term action, the day-to-day environment of executives.
Peter was recently named as one of Australia's Top Digital Influences, is Chairman of Deloitte's Innovation Council, an Adjunct Professor at RMIT, Board Member of Deloitte Foundation and Circus OZ. Peter is also very active in the community having assisted in Vic Bushfire relief, QLD floods, Christchurch Earthquake and actively undertakes student mentoring.
