Not Business as Usual: Everything was going along fine. Jobs were coming in, people were saying ‘well done’, but there wasn’t anything outstanding about Rob’s acting career. “Promising” sums it up. But who’s happy with that?
Then, an OPPORTUNITY. The ugliest man in Australian business history, Kerry Packer, needed to be portrayed and there are only so many guys with the natural gifts (a strange looking chin and nose) that could pull that off. But could he? What if he wasn’t good enough? What would he have to CHANGE to his every day routine to ensure SUCCESS?
NOT BUSINESS AS USUAL is a story about STEPPING UP. From bit part actor playing
characters that always died to playing an Australian icon in a leading role. A chance barbecue with Tom Cruise, a romantic moment with Michael Buble and a huge respect for ordinary detail are all part of the overnight success that took 25 years to build. Rob Carlton is a natural born story teller. An actor with a background in stand-up comedy, your audience will enjoy huge laughs from the stories Rob tells while gaining an insight into how to shake up their routine and super-charge their process so they can step up and become INDUSTRY LEADERS.
