Robert Mallett, a Tasmanian entrepreneur, small business owner, communication trainer and association manager. Robert Mallett’s experience includes twenty years as a retail store owner and operator with a high commitment to service to customers. Robert’s organisation The Front Man is a wholly owned Tasmanian organisation specialising in meeting facilitation, corporate training, conference management, association management and was established in 2001.
He has also worked for the Tasmanian Public Service where he co-ordinated a significant portion of a national small business professional development programme which supported small business owners in their quest to seek knowledge and build their businesses.
At all levels, Robert Mallett has fostered his employees and co-workers encouraging a sense of ownership in personal and organisational outcomes and pride in the team.
Robert’s ability to network with a broad range of people, his desire to get the little things done and the right people looked after on the day, ensures that events run to time, and delivers the outcomes your organisation has planned for. Over the last 10 years, Robert has had a broad range of experiences as a small businessman, public servant and Executive Officer of an Industry Training Advisory Board, arranging launches and public events for politicians and small business organisations alike.
Robert has been the Summit Leader for the COSBOA Small Business Summit for the last five years and has delighted audiences with his easy manner and professional interviewing technique.
He was also the conference leader/MC at the highly acclaimed Tasmanian Vocational Education and Training Partnerships Conference in Hobart and the Tasmanian Workplace Trainers and Assessors Network Conference in Launceston.
