As an ultra-endurance athlete, entrepreneur and keynote speaker, Sean Bell is driven by a passion to help others chase and achieve their personal and professional dreams.
His story has become a powerful catalyst for personal growth and organisational transformation.
In 2016 when Sean’s friend passed away in his sleep at just 18 years old, it changed his life. It made Sean realise that life is incredibly precious and we must chase our dreams now. Since that day, he has dedicated his life to chasing his dreams and to helping others chase theirs.
From April 11 to June 11, 2022, Sean ran 4,000kms from Cairns to Melbourne as part of his Run for Wishes campaign. He averaged 66.68 kilometres per day, for 60 consecutive days, raising $100,000 for Make-A-Wish® Australia!
Tragedy struck Sean again on day 7, when he learned the news that his coach and First42K business partner, had suddenly passed away. Sean showed his resilience as he pushed on with his run every day, despite significant grief.
Some of Sean's other achievements include:
- Fundraised over $150,000 for charities close to his heart
- 50 Marathons in 50 Days - raising $30,000 for The Compassionate Friends Charity (2019)
- Bali Hope Ultra Winner - 84km race across Bali (2019)
- Running non-stop for 24 hours twice (2019 & 2020, 170 & 181kms respectively)
- Sub 3-Hour Marathon - 2:53:18 (2020)
- Hut 2 Hut Finisher - Back-to-back Ultra Marathons at Mt Buller (2021)
- 4 x 4 x 48 Goggins Challenge - 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours (2021)
- Over 150 marathons since his first one in October 2017.
